• ·      The weather today is extremely hot! Ugh.
• ·      We went to the Senate, APO Productions and House of Representatives today for our OJT tour. Too bad there were no sessions so… we did not see any senator or congressman. But it was amazing that the APO staff thought us how the UV light detector helps in determining if the money or government receipt is fake or not! AUTHENTIC government documents have invisible marks that I believe no one could copy! HAHA! I believe every establishment then must have their own UV machines!
• ·      Then after, went around SMN to chill and saw an incoming freshman from my Alma Matter! She made me feel old! HAHA!

Malacanan Palace Museum

Malacanan means "MAY LAKAN DIYAN" or a high person is staying at that place. The first owner of Malacanan was Don Rocha, then a general bought it for 1,000 pesos then after he needed to sell the palace and the government finally bought it for 5, 100 pesos! wew. 

The first president who used Malacanan? President Manuel L. Quezon and his family! Our tour guide, Sir Louie said that there are rumours that some staff sometimes see him roaming around the grand staircase or playing his chess set alone! scary!

Zombieland's Effect

I went to UST a while ago to see Noel (our CASA President for this AY) for the recognition papers that we need to pass to OSA on the 15^th.  After, I decided to stay at UST for a bit longer to savor its tranquility since there were no students around (today is Araw ng Kagitingan), it feels different since I am used to the buzz of the campus.

I sat in front of the Main Bldg., then suddenly it hit me, I have one year to go before finally finishing college! But I know that would be a LONG LONG LONG YEAR to go before it happens. A lot of things then rushed in my mind, I started anticipating the academic year coming on my way plus the thought that I’d be an officer makes it more exciting at the same time complicated. Within me I know that I am hoping a lot for a better senior year.

Moreover, I also thought about my crush (HAHA) while sitting pretty on that bench, within me I am hoping (YES! Dami kong hopes!) that I won’t see him ever again!!! HAHA! I just don’t like seeing people special to me and then I can’t even say HI or HELLO! So, I think it would be better if I will NEVER see him. ‘Nuff!

Then my last thought in the trail was about my plan after college (HAHA, I’m thinking too much in advance huh?)… I think I want to go to Graduate School in UP. Then teach in UST after!

Now, I don’t know how to end this entry. All I know is that there is a different effect when UST turns a ZOMBIELAND.

•       We went to the Malacanan Palace Museum. We saw the 9 rooms inside the Kalayaan Hall. Each room serves as significant memorabilia room. For example, room number 1 shows the various campaign materials used in each elections starting from Manuel L. Quezon up to Benigno Aquino III. I must say every Filipino needs to see these rooms! You will surely appreciate more the importance of Malacanan in our history.  (Pictures to follow!)

•      After the tour, Ms. Eldie finally endorsed us at Philippine News Agency (PNA), this is actually the main bureau where we will be working! My first impression at the place? WOOOA! EVERYONE SEEMS TO BE WORKING HARD! The place is so quiet and everyone is in his or her own desk writing and writing and writing! Then we met our boss, Ms. Faye Velesco, she is so finest and pretty! I loved her sense of fashion; she was wearing a jumpsuit and killer wedges. J Nonetheless, I am excited to work with them, most especially that we will be working with them until the elections period, we will help in covering events too! BUT at the same time I am nervous since I am not so good in writing news L I hope I could learn their techniques and eventually love this job!

Today's Bullet

• ·      I fetched my sister at St. Paul Pasig! I am so happy that I survived computing that far! Achievement! Plus, visiting SPCP again reminds me of my high school days! I’ve been there before attending leadership trainings and writing seminars! Oh those Paulinian days!
• ·      The homily of the priest in today’s mass was remarkable. He associated the Gospel’s lesson to our parents, who according to him led us by example when we were little so, we were able to learn some things that we apply at the moment. Moreover, the Gospel as well teaches us to be courageous. We do not have to worry too much as long as we have the faith!
• ·      My sister and me watched “It Take A Man and A Woman,” starring John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo. My overall reaction? GOOD VIBES lang! I kept on laughing the whole time, actually the whole crowd was laughing hard! A must watch movie! Kudos to their director, Bb. Joyce Bernal!
• ·      Ate a lot of food today too! L Oh noes, my 1-month crunches won’t work if I will devour too much on food. I need to control my appetite!
